FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. Are we supposed to buy a ticket for each show?
Yes, if parents are going to sit in the auditorium, they will need a ticket for each show.

2. Can we leave after their last act?
Yes, after dancers have finished all of their routines, they are free to leave. The finale is optional.

3. Do the kids stay alone in the back?
The dancers are not completely alone in the dressing room. We will have moms who have volunteered to help. However, these volunteers are not responsible for the overall care of just your child, but the overseeing of the entire dressing room. Moms are more than welcome to volunteer (link will be sent out again soon) and stay with their kiddo backstage. When your child's routine comes on you will escort your child (with their class) to the hallway and leave them in the care of one of our stage managers and head to the main entrance of the auditorium to view your child's routine. After their routine is finished you can head back to the dressing room.

4. Are we able to go backstage?
Only staff is permitted behind stage doors. But, Moms are more than welcome in the dressing rooms. We want this to be a family experience!

5. How do we handle costume changes?

Parents are in charge of all costume changes and are expected to make sure their child is in the proper outfit in time.
We do have a list of the kiddos who have "quick changes" (dancers who have one routine or less to change costumes and will get ahold of each parent with the details on how to handle that shortly.)

6. Do we buy tickets for them for each show?
Students 6 & Under are permitted to sit on a lap in the auditorium only after their routine(s) has been on stage. If parents choose to have students sit in a seat they will need to purchase a ticket.

7. What do we do if we don't buy tickets for the show? What do the kids do?
Students are not allowed to be in the building without a parent being present. The best solution is for the mom to volunteer to help in the dressing room (a relatively easy job) if the parents are not planning on viewing the performance.

8. When should my child arrive?
Students should be at each performance 1 hour or 30 minutes before ShowTime. Volunteers should be at their assigned work area 40 minutes prior.
